@anime0pop I know that Turkey is not in EU, too. You don't need to be in EU to be an European country, I just gave Cyprus as an example.And long time ago, Turkey had a big land in Europe, but not now. Past is past, so I don't care about where Cyprus was in past. or where it belonged to. Now, Turkey is considered a Southeastern European country, whether you like it or not, it's a fact.

@PLQENQS4 Turkey is not in the European Union if thats what you're getting at. The only reason Cyprus is considered both is because not that long ago it was still a part of Greece which is Europe, then they got independence so it fits in both. Turkey isn't European Georgraphly or by European Union.

@anime0pop It has nothing to do with geography. Southern Cyprus is in Middle East but it's in EU. Turkey is an European country, too. I can see that you are great at geography but it's not about geography. Did you know that Turkey is considered a "founder member" of Council of Europe with Greece? And if Turkey wasn't a European country, EU could reject Turkey with a reason like "Turkey is not an European country", but they can't. Ask yourself why.
